About the Cantara Wiki

Cantara is Arabic for bridge, and we believe in creating value by bridging. Our goal is to strengthen and promote Norwegian software development by active collaboration with the government, the educational system, the Norwegian software marked and software communities. Cantara will facilitate a broad spectrum of knowledge-oriented services and projects. Cantara is a non-profit organization owned by Norwegian Software Development Foundation (Stiftelsen for fremme av programvareutvikling i Norge).

This Wiki is an open wiki focused on creating an open community around sharing knowledge in the area of software development. We will strive to kickstart the community by sharing internal knowledge and intellectual property, and hope that the information will be of great value to others. We believe that an open and sharing community is in everyone's interest, as it makes the software market more mature and efficient.

Pressemelding fra Objectware:

Gjennom femten år har Objectware vært opptatt av å styrke fagmiljøet i Norge. For å skape et samlingssted for fagentusiaster opprettet vi i 2008 Objectware Community Wiki. Dette har vært et sted for både å utarbeide og diskutere gode retningslinjer for å gjennomføre krevende IT-prosjekter.

Vi setter umåtelig stor pris på de bidrag som har kommet fra fagmiljøet. Disse har bidratt til å gjøre Objectware Community Wiki til en troverdig og faglig sterk arena for deling av erfaringer.

For å nå ut til et enda større publikum og samtidig legge til rette for videre diskusjon og utvikling på en uavhengig arena, velger vi nå å flytte innholdet fra vår egen wiki til Cantaras fagwiki. Objectware synes Cantaras initiativ for å styrke norsk programvareutvikling er et spennende tiltak.

Vi ønsker samtidig å takke alle bidragsytere til Objectwares Community Wiki og håper dere alle vil bidra til å videreutvikle det gode innholdet videre.
